Emilio Martinez, known professionally as EZUS, is a seasoned recording engineer with over two decades of experience in the music industry. Ezus’s journey into the world of audio engineering began early, having developed a passion for recording at just 16 years old. After graduating from Suffield Academy in 2002, where he built his own recording setup in his dorm room, Ezus decided to turn his passion into a profession. In 2003, he officially launched his career after completing a diploma from The Institute of Audio Research in New York City.

Ezus specializes in recording, mixing, mastering, and production, primarily working with Hip-Hop and R&B artists. His client base is rooted in the vibrant music scene of New York City, where he has engineered and produced projects for rappers and singers, while occasionally collaborating with pop, reggae, and urban Latino artists. He’s known for creating a seamless recording experience, offering high-quality results at Sound Studios, where he leverages top-notch equipment like the Apogee Duet and Neumann TLM 103 microphone to deliver pristine vocal recordings.

In his home studio, Ezus handles the intricate mixing and mastering process, utilizing state-of-the-art tools such as a Mac Studio loaded with Pro Tools, Logic, Waves, UAD, Auto-Tune Pro, and other industry-leading plugins. His setup includes a Cranborne Audio 500R8 interface paired with outboard gear for sonic texture and Focal monitors to ensure crystal-clear playback. This combination of cutting-edge software and hardware allows him to craft sonically rich tracks that elevate an artist's vision.
